`Dr. K. K Avirachan Passes Away`

One of our class mates Dr. Avirachan K.K died today (June 29, 2005). He was having his own private clinic at Naranganam in Pathanamthitta district. We understand that he had problems related to diabetes since few years and the terminal event was diabetic nephropathy. He is survived by his wife Omana and his two daughters.

His wife Omana is from Pullolickal family at Pampady. He has two girls. The elder daughter completed her engineering and the younger one is an engineering student at Palghat.

The funeral was at Mazhuvannoor near Kolencherry, near our Shammi’s place today afternoon. Our classmates Jacob P Thomas, Vijayakumar, Gopinathan, N.D. Mohan, Soman, Ipekutty, Jose P.J, Moola, Aravindakshan, John K. V and his wife, Shammi and her husband were there for the funeral.

Our Prayers for his entire family , Parents, Omana and the kids , glad to hear that so many of our friends were able to attend the Funeral , even Ipekutty

Shila is devastated by the news of Avirachen's death. She knew him well because he used to attend the Jacobite church at KMC and according to her, "he was a quiet person."

We extend to Omana and the greaving family our condolences. May God strengthen them to overcome this tragedy. It is so sad.
